In this tutorial, you will be painting an 8×10 “puzzle” of a very colorful rose. This is a fun tutorial to just relax and paint. You really can't do it wrong!

To Blend or Not to Blend, that is the question.
Of course, you be blending and it's best to know how to do it correctly!
Remember that if you have two different WET colors side by side and you want to merge one, use a dry OR SLIGHTLY DAMP brush with a small amount of paint that has been wiped on a towel. Then using just the side of the brush, lightly rub one color over the other like you were doing chalk pastels.
The pressure to apply is about what you would use on a screaming child who is sunburned and still needs lotion on his burned skin. Then increase the pressure a bit till you find just the right amount moving back and forth like you were blending blush on your face.

Non-tutorial ‘Colours of celebration' after and before PAC. 30×30 cm (about 12×12 inch) stretched canvas with System 3 acrylics.
It turned out to be a very difficult subject for me and Ginger helped me through the process with all the techniques. I really appreciate that we can send our non-tutorial works in for PACs. I couldn't have finished it without Ginger's guidance. In the end, I got the kindest feedback from her which made my day
