In this lesson, “Brush Warm-Ups”, Ginger shows you how to use your paintbrushes in different ways for maximum control. This is a fundamental lesson you want to master because all paintings will have some part of what you will learn here.
I recommend you warm up your brushes for about 5 minutes before starting a painting. Then, you can do it on your canvas before you paint over it with your primary background colors. See how thin you can make a line and what kind of brush pressure is needed for thick and thin lines. How wet does it need to be?
