The Great “Paint a Gnome” Acrylic Challenge!

Attention all acrylic artists out there, from budding beginners to seasoned professionals! We're excited to present the “Paint a Gnome” challenge, a delightful opportunity to unleash your creativity and showcase your unique acrylic painting skills. Gnomes, with their charming appearances and whimsical nature, are not just mythical creatures; they are a canvas for imagination. Whether you're drawn to their tall hats, bushy beards, or their mischievous smiles, there's a gnome out there waiting for your special touch. Remember, you MUST be a member and sign into your account to participate! This is open to every membership level!m

Why participate? First and foremost, it's a fun and engaging way to push your artistic boundaries. With three gnome line drawings provided – each with its own character and mood – you're given a starting point from which you can take any direction. Maybe you'll paint a gnome with a starry night backdrop or perhaps one that's amidst a vibrant spring bloom. The possibilities are endless! And for those who'd like to make it more personal, you're free to choose a gnome design of your own. Remember, it's not just about painting; it's about adding those little details and special touches that make the artwork uniquely yours. Rules for the Acrylic Gnome Challenge 2023

1. Use one of the three images provided, or create your own.
2. Keep the painting painterly and not just a coloring book style with outlines.
3. Make up your own colors and background.
4. Be creative, but keep it a holiday festive theme.
5. Any size is okay and either square, horizontal, or vertical. Your choice!
6. It must be submitted by November 30 on the website but can be sent any time before that date.
7. Create as many different paintings as you are inspired to do.
8. Gnomes will be posted on a particular page on our website.
9. All 3 of our traceable gnome images are on our website. (Green (free) members and above)
10. You may share on Facebook, but it must be submitted on our website for consideration for prizes.
